Today, licensed professional counselors face complex ethical issues. Counselors are charged with being knowledgeable of these ethical and legal issues to ensure ethical practice. Working knowledge of the ACA and NBCC Code of Ethics, along with state ethics and laws is required of all licensed professional counselors.
This live webinar will require a test at the completion of workshop. You must score 80% or more to receive CEUS. Cameras are required to be on the entire time, per NBCC rules. If you do not have camera on you will receive non-contact hours.

1. Identify and define the key elements of the NBCC, ACA, and ABEC Code of Ethics
2. Select and discuss the six purposes of the ACE Code of Ethics
3. Discuss an ethical decision-making model and practice applying model to case studies
4. Identify two situations that may warrant the disclosure of confidential information and give examples for each through the use of case studies.
