Every person is different, and counseling should be tailored to the client’s needs and goals. My approach to counseling is individualized and focuses on the client’s strengths. I believe in a hands-on, client-centered approach utilizing CBT to assist clients in developing new coping skills and to promote growth.
Jessica Isbell is an Associate Licensed Counselor (#C2805A) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) under the supervision of Ashley L. Garrett, (#8056). Jessica earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville State University, where she is currently pursuing her Educational Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Tyler. Jessica is a member of the American Counseling Association, Alabama Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Association for Play Therapy, Alabama Association for Play Therapy, International Expressive Arts Therapy Association, Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, and a NBCC Foundation Rural Scholar. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
