Counselor Christina, EdS, LPC

Christina joined the Garrett Counseling team in 2020, but she has been working in the mental health field since 2019! She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned her Ed.S and Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville State University and her Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of North Alabama.

Christina enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults, as well as those facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy.

Christina practices wellness by working out, spending time outside, and practicing prayer. She has a toy poodle named Marcel. Cross, Karyn B. Purvis, and Wendy Lyons Sunshine. She finds a special connection with Frankie Heck from the tv show, "The Middle."
