Counselor Caitlin, ALC, MA, NCC

Location: Albertville

Caitlin joined the Garrett Counseling team in 2025 and has been in the mental health field for just over a year. She graduated with her Master’s degree from the University of North Alabama. She is an Associated Licensed Counselor.

Caitlin often uses Adlerian, person-centered, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapy methods. She enjoys working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as those healing from trauma.

Caitlin practices wellness by reading, spending time outdoors, and being with her dogs (Mac N Cheese and Charlie). Her favorite books are The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Searching for Sunday by Rachel Held Evans, and Set Boundaries, Find Peace by Nedra Glover Tawwab. Caitlin finds a special connection with Midge Maisel from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She says, "Midge Maisel inspires me because of her grit and the story to finding her own path."
