Serah Blackwell

Location(s): Albertville / Boaz, Huntsville 

Serah joined the Garrett Counseling team in 2023. She is the scheduling coordinator for our Albertville / Boaz & Huntsville locations. Serah has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Jacksonville State University. Her goal is to become a licensed counselor.

Serah practices wellness by reading, praying, journaling, and spending time outdoors. She has an energetic miniature schnauzer named Odie. A few interesting facts to help you get to know Serah better: Her favorite books include "The Body Keeps the Score" by Bessel van der Kolk and "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. She finds a special connection with Belle in "The Beauty and the Beast." Serah says, "I feel as though I have always connected with Belle and her thirst for knowledge and adventure. I, like Belle, have a desire to learn and to gain experiences in all aspects of life."
