I believe that counseling is a process in which the counselor and client have to work together to build trust and growth. It gives the client a safe environment in which to explore their issues and learn to better cope with them. My goal as a counselor is to help people establish change that they seek within themselves.
Bill is a Licensed Professional Counselor (#2879) in the state of Alabama and Georgia (#006569). He is also a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Georgia. He earned his Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Alabama and Master’s degree in Psychology from Jacksonville State University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Jacksonville State University. He has 15 years of experience in the mental health field. He has worked with a variety of demographics, including the geriatric population. He has a strong background in mental health counseling, including crisis and substance abuse counseling. Additionally, Bill has experience in counseling clients that have dual diagnoses.
