Ebony Heard

Too often, families experience the trauma of life’s stress-related issues. And in an instant, their lives become unraveled. However, one of my greatest passions is to bring healing and a sense of peace to families that may have traumatic and stressful experiences. As a counselor, my goal is to assist those families, including children and adults, to seek out healthy resolutions for themselves and to assist them in the strengthening of their relationships leading to peace, wholeness, and their well-being.

With 10 years of experience, from working with Child Protective Services as an investigator to being a Foster Care and Placement Manager, I have firsthand knowledge and understanding of the importance of the safety and quality of life for families and children. Also, having 5 years of experience working with children who have been subjected to severe levels of trauma, physical neglect, and sexual abuse in a therapeutic setting, these issues are near and dear to my heart.
