Victoria Williams
Victoria is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Ohio (C.1902337). Victoria earned both her Master’s degree in counseling and Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation from Alabama State University. Victoria is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Ohio University in counselor education and supervision. Victoria has served as an executive board member for Chi Sigma Iota Alpha Chapter, an international and professional academic honor society for counseling students, counselor educators, and professional counselors. Victoria is also a member of the American Counseling Association and Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in counseling.
From her professional journey, Victoria’s approach to counseling has been ingrained from the perspectives of humanistic and postmodern approaches. Within utilizing these approaches, she views counseling as a process that aids others explore, as well as, cope with issues causing distress. Outside of counseling, she has an extroverted personality. Victoria enjoys spending time with her cat, family, friends, sporting events, traveling, arts, and exploring new things. On the contrary, she finds spending time alone reading books or hiking very therapeutic.
