Counselor Hannah, ALC, NCC

Hannah joined the Garrett Counseling team in 2026 and has been practicing for three years. She is an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC04760) under the supervision of Caroline Ross, LPC-S (#SC03500). She earned a master’s degree from the University of North Alabama in 2023 and a Post Master’s of Science in Trauma Studies from Grand Canyon University in 2026.

Hannah takes an integrative approach to her client work using a variety of interventions, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based interventions. She enjoys working with adults ages 18 and up throughout the lifespan, with a particular passion for young and middle-aged women, college students, and those experiencing life transitions. She is also passionate about working with clients who have experienced trauma.

Hannah practices wellness by spending time in nature, reading, painting my nails, painting, and spending time with my family, friends, and pets. She has 3 cats - Jasmine, Sterling, and Valentine. She has many favorite books including Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. She finds a special connection with Bella from Beauty and the Beast. Hannah says, "Belle is an avid reader, a bit more introverted and misunderstood, but she also isn’t afraid to be assertive and advocate for herself and others when needed. She’s kind and intelligent, both wonderful qualities. I see a lot of myself in her."
