Through our Family Services program we offer "Parenting with Purpose," a 9-week therapy group that has parents working with a treatment team that focuses on teaching empathy, self-worth, and discipline. Parents with children of any age can attend these groups. For more information please view the information below or contact us.
No family unit is exactly the same. Each one is a unique social system and has its own structure and patterns of communication. The beliefs, values, and individual personalities, along with the influence of extended family members, make up the dynamic system of a family unit. Individuals who participate in family counseling sessions often feel more understood and therefore can encourage and support one another through a range of concerns like co-parenting, sibling conflict, marital discord, parenting struggles, chronic illness of a family member, a challenging child, and blended family struggles.
We recognize that all relationships are unique, and sometimes one or both partners seek outside counseling to help navigate challenges and transitions in the relationship. These transitions can come in the form of major life changes (from experiencing the joy of a new baby to caring for aging parents), desiring to increase communication and intimacy, striving to blend two families together in harmony, desiring to overcome a marital affair, or dealing with a difficult child in the home. Whatever obstacles your relationship might be facing, our team can provide support.
Our pre-marriage counseling can help partners prepare to enter a solid marriage and establish a strong foundation.
