She says, “I believe that it’s dysfunctional thinking that leads to dysfunctional emotions or behaviors, so I use CBT with my clients to assist them in changing their thoughts in order to change how they feel and make better choices. I also believe the therapeutic relationship is a powerful one, so with Client Centered Therapy I give space for the client to be the authority in their treatment and assist with change by emphasizing care and concern.”
