Ella joined the Garrett Counseling team in 2026 after completing her master’s degree at the University of West Alabama. She is an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Caroline Ross, LPC-S (# SC03500).

Ella enjoys working with clients across the lifespan as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. She shares, “I enjoy helping clients better understand their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of confidence and self-understanding.” Ella uses an integrative approach to counseling that draws from multiple therapeutic approaches.

For wellness, Ella enjoys starting her days with yoga and ending her days with long walks, weather allowing. She has two cats, Ringo and Murfee. Her favorite books include The Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, and Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb. She finds a special connection with Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. Ella says, "I admire her confidence in who she is and isn't afraid to have her own opinions, but also learns along the way. I connect with the idea of growing and learning through experiences. I also love her sense of humor and the way she brings a little lightness to different situations."
