Jessica joined the Garrett Counseling team in 2020, but she has been working in the mental health field for over 5 years! She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Montevallo.

Jessica enjoys working with a mixture of all client populations, but she frequently works with those dealing with trauma, legal concerns (including DHR concerns), depression, anxiety, and ADHD. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered Therapy, and Bibliotherapy.

Jessica practices wellness by playing Women's League Co-Ed Softball, playing card and board games, and completing puzzles with her family. She has 2 Australian Shepards, Ru and Lucy, who have the spirit of puppies and unconditional loving souls.
