Workshop Description:

Over the course of this workshop, we will explore a comprehensive advanced skills to couples work, covering key principles, techniques, and best practices that are essential for mental health professionals in the area of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Our expert facilitator, Dr. Kennedy, will guide you through a rich blend of theory, case studies, and interactive exercises to help you grasp the intricacies of this specialized area. By the end of this workshop, you will not only gain a deeper understanding of advanced couples work but also be better prepared to offer effective guidance and support to the couples under your care.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will articulate attachment, systems, and experiential theories and how they integrate
    to form Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
  2. Participants will learn the three main stages of EFT.
  3. Participants will learn at least 3 EFT techniques.
  4. Participants will practice conceptualizing the application of EFT to a couple case vignette.
