Learning Objectives:
- Explore Cultural Humility in Counseling: Examine the concept of cultural humility and its influence on fostering authentic and effective counseling relationships and in the play therapy room.
- Identify Ethical Guidelines Related to Cultural Humility: Outline five key ethical codes that address cultural humility and diversity in counseling practice and in play therapy.
- Analyze Case Studies on Cultural Diversity and Ethical Practice: Review and discuss two case studies highlighting the intersection of cultural diversity and ethical considerations in counseling and in the play therapy room.
- Apply Play Therapy Techniques to Promote Inclusivity: Implement play therapy interventions, including expressive arts and Brave Play techniques, to engage clients in ways that reflect cultural and social diversity while adhering to ethical guidelines.

While Garrett Counseling will do everything possible to ensure participant satisfaction, Garrett Counseling’s liability is limited to the tuition fee only. If you cancel, 10 business days before the event, you will receive a full refund.
